It's Been a While. An Update.
I haven't posted a new newsletter since September 9th and there's a few reasons for that. An update on what's been going on!
It’s been a while since I last published here, so I wanted to give everyone an update of where I’ve been and what’s been going on (not that you’d care, really, but why not!?)
I’ve been fully immersed in my business and thinking about the direction it’s headed, but also about how much gratitude I have for people who have followed me along the way and asked for my guidance.
I will be migrating this email to a platform that better fits the direction where I want to take it, but I also want to offer something back to the community to thank all of you for your continued support.
I’m Moving This Email to MailerLite.
MailerLite provides me a slightly better set of functions that I want for the Content Notes Newsletter from now on, so I’m going to be moving over there starting next week.
The new Content Notes will come out once a week and will have a similar but different feel to what you’ve become accustomed to seeing.
If you’re currently subscribed to Content Notes, I’ll add you to the initial subscriber list in MailerLite, and you'll receive Edition 1 of the new Content Notes on Thursday, November 4th.
If you'd like to opt-out, it definitely won't hurt my feelings (especially given my recent abandonment, here) but I'd love to have you stick around!
Three Free LinkedIn Workshops Coming In November!
I'm offering three 100% free LinkedIn workshops this November I thought you might be interested in:
1. Friday, November 5- LinkedIn Readiness for Solopreneurs and Small Business Owners
* Intended for people getting their feet wet on LinkedIn, we'll be covering topics like profile optimization, sketching out your "ideal customer avatar” identifying where your avatar is hanging out on LinkedIn, and how to start engaging with them through intentional commenting and relationship building before you start to create your content.
2. Friday, November 12- An Easy-To-Implement LinkedIn Content Strategy
* Intended for people who consider themselves intermediate LinkedIn brand builders starting to gain some traction (adding followers, people interacting with your content, etc.) Workshop No. 2 will focus on building an easy-to-implement LinkedIn content strategy that's predictable, repeatable, and effective.
3. Friday, November 19 - Advanced LinkedIn Tips and Tactics to Take Your Presence to the Next Level
* Intended for people who have been at it for a while with established followings and a strong, engaged community, Workshop No. 3 will cover advanced content strategy techniques, copywriting tips, intentional relationship-building techniques, and formatting tweaks to help you take your content to the next level!
You can sign up for one or as many as you'd like! You'll walk away from each workshop with a one-page summary of what was discussed and permanent access to the Notion files, where I will be warehousing the content we cover in the workshops.
I will host each workshop live at 11 am CST on these Fridays, but if you're unable to make it live, I'd be happy to share the recording with you afterward. I'll be providing the full workshop details to everyone on the waitlist on the afternoon of Wednesday, November 3.
